Clinical Supervision
I am passionate about Clinical Supervision and mentoring clinicians as they become Psychologists. I have provided clinical supervision as an approved clinical supervisor with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) for nearly 30 years to over one hundred Registered Provisional Psychologists. I also provide one-time and ongoing consultation services to Psychologists in the community. I have been a RASC Committee Member and have presented on behalf of PAA regarding issues pertaining to supervising Registered Provisional Psychologists. I am recognized as a leader in the field in Alberta. My primary focus is on providing external supervision to those clinicians working in a private practice or are in an agency setting in Calgary and the surrounding area, who are interested in Registering as a Psychologist in Alberta. I believe in developing supportive and collaborative supervisory relationships based on a competency-based approach. I guide in the development of supervision plans, provide direction in completing the LEAP exam, provide full support in successfully completing the EPPP, and assist the Registered Provisional Psychologist in completing their required clinical hours and in developing confidence in themselves as ethical, diligent, competent practitioners as they pursue their journey of becoming a Registered Psychologist.
